I’ve just had my first jab today after receiving a text telling me I was eligible. There was quite a long line of people I had to join in the car park which surprised me because John and my sister and husband went straight in. It was nice to have some fresh air to be honest and I was lucky it wasn’t raining or snowing. I was asked if I was on warfarin and if I knew my INR luckily the warfarin nurse came yesterday so I could tell him it was 2.4 A lovely lady gave me the Pfizer vaccine which I quite pleased about because that’s what John had. Everyone else I know has had the Oxford jab. My next one is booked for the 11 May 😊 It was painless and after 15 minutes I was allowed to leave. Hopefully that’s a step nearer to seeing my family in person.

Happy you were able to get it and no after effects. My second is next week.

Yay, that’s great news! It’s probably going to be a while before we get the call, but hopefully I’ll already have some decent antibodies having had the dreaded lurgy itself… 🙂

Wooohoooo, super duper! Very glad it all went well, and that you had Pfizer (that’s my preference). I’ve booked today for Friday but I wish they’d tell you what jab it is, I don’t like surprises 😆 Rest up and I hope you either have minimal or zero side-effects over the next 2-3 days. xxxx

My daughter told me that her dad had his injection today and he had the Oxford! I think it’s whatever is available on that day! Good luck for Friday 👍

Being 24 I’m quite down the list 🙄🤔😊 but it’s good that more of us are now being vaccinated. Hopefully things will be getting back to normal, however that will be, soon… I don’t understand those who say they won’t be having it, but each to their own, I suppose.

I think that they are flying through the groups so hopefully you will get yours sooner. 👍

Yay! That is good news! I feel like things are moving much slower here. I have seen nurses and healthcare workers get it and a couple of people with certain health conditions. My parents are still waiting. I can’t imagine when it will get down to us!

Good news Elaine. We had ours last week but no date for the second one yet. (Look out for my post scheduled for Friday!)

We got a card to say when we had our injections which also has the date for the second jab.

We got a card but were told that the surgery would be in touch about the second one.

That’s interesting, which vaccine did you both have?

We had the Pfizer. The invitation came from our surgery but we had to go to the town vaccination hub at the local football stadium. All good and we have nothing but praise for the system. (See my post this coming Friday!)

Good job! Me too! Kinda worried about the second one, but better than the alternative!
