Looking back…..

I’ve been looking back through the hundreds of paintings that I’ve done over the last few years. I’ve noticed that I have a tendency to paint cats, trees, suns and moons . The colour orange features a lot in my paintings too.

I can see the progression that I’ve made over the years, my cats are more cat shaped as opposed to to two circles with ears!

I began to paint angels 👼

When I first began painting I used acrylic and oil paints, I dabbled with watercolours but I found them too watery 🤷‍♀️

Finally, my first ever painting done in oils 🤦‍♀️ I hope you have enjoyed my trip down memory lane today, I can see my progression and hopefully that will improve more with time.

  1. A great reminder if your talent Elaine. You’ve come a long way since that fish😁 I still love the animals best. I don’t remember the colorful yarn type lion head so thanks for showing him again. And the light green background angel is new to me. Love your work!!🏆🥰♥️💗
