ONE OF THOSE SUNSETS

I’ve always been a great fan of Helene’s posts because they always inspire me to stretch my digital painting a bit more. When I saw the above post this morning I knew I wanted to try to replicate the beautiful sunset that Helene captured last night. After asking permission from Helene I couldn’t wait to get started.

I did the first part using my finger but to add the grass and tree I needed to use my Apple Pencil because obviously my finger won’t allow thin lines!
This is the end result and I’m very happy with the way it turned out. I used the ArtStudio program on my regular iPad.
