I started this one ages ago then left it, if you ask me how I did it I would struggle to know myself. I know that I did a lot of very fine blending. I’ve also found that if I don’t concentrate too hard which sounds weird, but if I just do bold things the paintings come out better.
I have the same experience. When I overthink things it always turns out bad. When I just go with the flow it works out ☺ I’m in the first category right now, so I do tend to overwork my recent paintings ☺ It’s all about confidence, I think. Which is decided by the result of my latest painting.
