Trying out ideas for greeting cards.

It’s the first day I’ve got the chance to spend some time painting. I bought 250 card and envelopes on offer on Amazon so I decided that I’m not going to buy any more greeting cards ever again! They’re expensive and not really personal so from now on I’m making my own.

I was going to get my acrylic paints out but I find it so much easier using the digital method 🙄

This is the first one and now I’m going to try different styles 😊 Happy days.

  1. wow! how gorgeous that is! You already know I adore the majority of your paintings (considering I own three of em…lol) and I would buy a set of cards from you without a single thought of “can I afford these?”..who CARES? They are so pretty I would go without to have them.

  2. This is absolutely beautiful, so delicate & vivid & uplifting. I think bulk-buying the cards & envelopes on Amazon is a great idea, that’ll set you up for quite a while. And it’s such a better way to put your talent to good use & produce cards that have a much more thoughtful, personal touch.xx

  3. Beautiful and would be given ‘right from the heart’.
Likewise I have been reviewing my Christmas card ‘process’. On 6th January I put all cards received in a bag to make my own next year. I thing painting your own is a much better idea ‘good for thought’.
This year I found Christmas preparations quite hard. As a lot of my cards are for Republic of Ireland I have to go to the post office counter to have them air mailed.
