Bad day yesterday.

Do you ever have days when you can’t stop eating? I have been so good recently losing almost 14lbs which believe me has not been easy 😒

Yesterday I was like a human vacuum I hoovered the fridge, the freezer, the cupboard eating everything in sight! I just couldn’t stop snacking.

Oh why did I do that πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I had ice cream, then more ice cream (but not out of the carton, I have standards πŸ˜‰ ) Β I had chocolate cake, I had biscuits, I had crisps ( chips to you Americans) I had a big Sunday lunch.

I had weighed myself yesterday πŸ˜ƒΒ Today I am 3lbs heavier. 😭😭😭😭

Hey that’s an idea, if I sit and cry all day, will I weigh less? πŸ€”

Nope πŸ‘Ž I don’t think that would work because I would get dehydrated then look like a raisin, hmm which is not a good look.

I’ve had melon for my breakfast today, maybe if I have melon for lunch and dinner and supper and snacks I may lose weight.

That sounds like a good plan to me 😏

I have a hospital appointment at 4.35pm tomorrow and I WILL be weighed do you think I could lose the 3lbs before then ?

Any ideas welcomed.

  1. I’ve yo- yoed up and down 20-25 pounds during most of my life. Losing the weight is always a struggle. It’s awesome that you lost the 14 pounds, and even if you went up three, it’s part of the process. If you put yourself back on track with your food, those pounds will probably come off quickly–you probably didn’t truly gain 3 pounds in one day. When I eat everything in sight, it’s usually because I have missed the foods I’ve loved and want them back all at once. Have you ever tried Weight Watchers? They have a new program that allows you to eat a lot of goodies in moderation and still lose weight (it’s called Free Style). I find when I feel deprived of too many foods, I go all out and eat what I’ve missed at some point. I hope this helps. I know how it is.

    1. Thank Cathi, I think you are right about binge eating all the foods I’ve missed. I have been told to lose weight due to my liver issues. The older I get the harder it is to lose weight!

  2. No worries. Stress holds weight. And the doc appt coming, causes stress. You needed a short break, no big deal. Weighing yourself once a week or once a month is better. Daily changes are normal. πŸ€—πŸ’œ

  3. Ugh – I had one of those days recently. Just felt awful – physically and mentally (but of course, not while I was doing all the eating! I was enjoying myself A LOT then). Hopefully you found what your body was looking for and today went better!
