Japanese Lady in digital

One of my favourite paintings which I did in acrylics was the Japanese lady. My mother did not believe that I had painted this one which amused me no end.

I decided to have a go at painting the same painting only in digital and achieved this result

It is all a learning curve ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. This is fab! Are you finding it easier with the digital art now that you’re getting the hang of it?
I can see why your mum didn’t believe you’d done the acrylic as it’s incredible, I really love the mix of colours against the dark background because it’s bright and colourful, yet without being garishly colourful (if that makes any sense); you really captured the style incredibly well.

    1. I am finding digital easier now although I havenโ€™t mastered the pen yet. I find it hard to control, the brush was easier yet I love digital the eraser ๐Ÿ˜‰ I am wanting to feel confident that I can still paint before I move on to bigger and better things. Therefore Iโ€™ve decided to recreate what I hand painted in digital. I need to remember to use layers to create depth and different mediums such as oils, acrylics and metallics. Itโ€™s good it takes my mind off my aches and pains ๐ŸŒน
