Sometimes things are meant to happen for a reason!

Saintly

After being without the internet for five days I’m back up and running again thank goodness, although I have to say that I have achieved so much more without it. I’ve topped up my spiritual tank 👼🏻 first reading Light is the new black and I have also downloaded the audiobook, The Monk who sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma. I chose the audio version because I enjoy painting and listening to something at the same time, usually music 🎵🎶  I can multi task!

I have to say this is a really good book and well worth taking a look at.  I read The Alchemist years ago by Paula Coelho and found it quite heavy  going, this book is more down to earth, just like me. 😏

It’s from Amazon,  I feel that I should  declare at this point that I do not work for them, HONESTLY , I am just one of their good customers! 🤑

I went into our spare room come office/ craft/store cupboard and got out a blank canvas to paint on and let myself go with the flow, this is what it looks like at the moment.

I know,  he does look familiar to another painting that I did previously, perhaps he is one of my spirit guides, he does look rather saintly 😉  and I have definitely been writing more spiritual poetry lately 🤓

I had to smile myself! The time just flew by,

John said “Are you alright”, ” you have been painting for three hours.

I was amazed it felt like minutes not hours, I was so engrossed 🤤  that was until I stood up and could hardly walk because I was so stiff. 😬 I was actually walking into the lounge in a sitting position, John raised his eyebrows and shook his head. That made me straighten up. I was determined not to moan.

I knew if I did John would say. “You should paint a bit at a time”. I can’t do that 🙄 when I’m in the zone, I’m in the zone 🤫 and an earthquake wouldn’t shift me. 😬

More later Elaine x

  1. 😀😀 very lovely pictures. I know the feeling. Drawing is something that if you love it, time never seems to be enough. It’s like writing, when you’re in that zone, nothing seems to matter. Do you sell your paintings? Or just for keepsake?

  2. I was without my phone for two days and realized I do most everything on it, including reading. Oh well, thank heavens it survived it’s bath! I think the two faces are a bit ghostlike in my opinion, idk if I like them to be honest…I’m not as evolved as you in the spirit world I think. The walking crooked was pointed out to me years ago in Houston as we shopped at the Galleria mall. I ended up buying a cane, but even that didn’t help with the pain in my back. I did straighten up a bit, but she would walk beside me moaning for me!😂

  3. Well it’s mysterious!
I totally relate with sitting thing, I do that too when I am engrossed in something I forget the world.
Yes, without internet is much productive sometimes.
