Sharing my life 4th December 2017

What household chore do you absolutely hate doing?

Ironing, I detest it, with living in an apartment block we do not have a washing line so any items that cannot be put on hangers go straight into the tumble dryer. ย Anything that may have a possibility of creasing gets shook throughly. Anything to avoid getting out the ironing board. When I was in the rat race I actually had someone collect and iron everything for me, I find that hard to believe now. Anyway I tend to iron about once a month now ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I prefer to do other things. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽจ

At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?

I feel alive when I paint, when I read, when I write, when I eat, ย I suppose I feel passionate and alive most of the time.

How many times have you moved in the last ten years?

How long have you got!

Ten years ago I was living in Spain I lived in three different houses over there

Then back in England I lived in five houses before meeting my husband John.

With John we have lived in five houses before finally settling in our new apartment, which trust me we will be staying in.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? ย Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

I have felt inspired by the books that I have read and my painting which seems to be flowing easier. I appreciate the warm bed I sleep in and the fact that I am in good health.

Also after being without any internet connection I truly appreciate its back on again.

But most of all I appreciate my lovely husband who spent ages putting Christmas lights on our balcony.

Have a great week Elaine x

  1. I don’t iron. It’s too difficult. Before my husband passed away I ironed his clothes. I have a couple of things needing ironing so I don’t wear them!๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‚

  2. I like cleaning the house. Cleaning helps me focus… My victory moment is when Iโ€™m determined to accomplish a goal. In the past ten years Iโ€™ve moved about 3 times. Each move happened to help me grow as a mom and it was part of bettering myself. The person that Iโ€™m grateful for is my mom. You remind me of her with creativity and fun ways of being. You both are yourselves and enjoy being who you are. ๐Ÿ˜Š
