Who is hurting the most here!

I was trying to explain how important it is to forgive others to another blogger this afternoon and the importance of letting go of resentments. He thought it may make a good post for me to write so here it is. Β Hanging on to grudges doesn’t hurt anyone else as much as it hurts yourself. I thought the easiest way to explain this was through the following quotes .

Its sound advice, I hope you take it and then you can release yourself from the pain you are carrying because it serves you no good. Forgive someone today and then you truly are a winner in life.

  1. One of the most difficult things in life but so worth it. My struggle is forgetting after the forgiving. Where’s the fine line? Maybe one day I won’t remember but I continue to forgive. A true loving aspect of God is not remembering. πŸ˜€

    1. I believe that when you forgive someone for the pain they gave to us, it is then passed back to them. Never wish anyone bad feelings because bad feelings can bounce back to us. Rise above, forgive, try to forget and learn from the experience because it is teaching us something 🌹

      1. Much respect Elaine for following it. But I am human and though I don’t wish bad for someone but deep down I know it will happen I let go and don’t care. I don’t hold grudges. I just let it be but I don’t forgive and I am at peace with that

  2. But when someone hurts you so bad, like I was, it is almost impossible to forgive. And for the record, I have forgave him at least 3 times and he just did it over and over again so my guard is not coming down! I need to live my life! -Bruce
